It’s rewarding as an attorney to gain the full trust of your client through hard work, honesty, and communication.
What’s the best thing about being an attorney?
I love getting to know our clients and their communities around Texas. I miss visiting them face to face!
What makes J. Cruz & Associates unique?
Our firm is a family and our clients become part of our family. We work hard to take care of each other and our clients.
What’s your favorite quote?

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
Laughing with my husband, cooking with my daughter, and watching movies with my sons.
Who has been the most influential person in your life, and why?
My grandmother who had to leave school in the sixth grade to go to work. She told me it broke her heart to leave school. She taught me to value education and opportunity. She also taught me that lack of formal education doesn’t reflect a person’s true intelligence. She was very smart and a voracious reader of all topics.
Before working at J. Cruz & Associates, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
When I was a teenager in the 80s, I worked at AstroWorld in Houston. The amusement park doesn’t exist anymore but I have a lot of fond memories!
