How would you describe your role at J. Cruz & Associates?
My role primarily revolves around assisting the attorneys with legal research, drafting documents and basically making their jobs easier in any way possible. I get the opportunity to contribute to the J. Cruz & Associates team while being mentored by great attorneys. I also contribute to the firm’s blog and monthly newsletter.
What’s the most rewarding experience you’ve had while working at J. Cruz & Associates?
It’s very rewarding to have the chance to help our clients realize their goals and troubleshooting their legal issues. Gaining invaluable legal experience from such a well-established firm definitely bolsters the experience.
What’s one professional skill you’re currently working on and why?
I’m currently working on becoming a better writer. As an attorney, I will need to communicate effectively and draft articulate legal arguments for clients.
What do you think makes J. Cruz & Associates different from other law firms?
J. Cruz & Associates stands out by constantly finding innovative ways to satisfy our clients’ legal needs professionally and efficiently. As a law clerk, I can’t help but notice the familial environment shared among the attorneys and support staff. This allows the firm to work as a cohesive unit where everyone brings something valuable to the table.

I enjoy exercising, spending time with my dog, and cheering on my San Antonio Spurs.

My grandfather for his unrivaled work ethic, love for his family, and respect received from his community.
